  1. I believe the fox has made friends with what he potentially considers a future meal who won’t run away.

  2. Just keep an eye out – think there was a string of dead cat cases somewhere fairly recently and it was determined to be urban foxes

Cats ears look like they’re pointing backwards a fair bit in the vid which means he’s unsure

  3. Probably best to scare it off sadly, life’s not a Disney film, he could attack your cat eventually.

  4. My parents cats made friends with the local badgers. Parents would throw nuts and food scraps out, cats would just be around the back patio and when the badgers came they’d bump noses and just pass each other.

  5. I’ve set up a trail cam at the bottom of my garden where there is a wild area of woods and there is a surprising amount of coming and going of cats and foxes, and they seem to mostly ignore one another or at least not pay each other much attention. Also, badgers, martens, various rodents, it’s pretty cool.

  6. I would, next time, you see the fox to scare it away. Run at it shouting and waving your arms, they eat cats. They are the top primary predator in the uk and will happily take a cat.

  7. I was about to comment “pspspsps” but reading the other replies I don’t think I will anymore

  8. Your cat is in a standoff with a larger predator.

Foxes will kill and eat cats, they also carry diseases harmful to cats. They’re probably not going to, it’s not their main diet/go-to activity but I wouldn’t take this lightly.

  9. Our cat got killed by a fox, didn’t actually see it happen but it had fox fur under it’s claws. They aren’t friends.

  10. Wish the cameraman made friends with the stabilisation feature of the camera app.

On the upside, we have.all been introduced to the lead camera.man for the Liam Neeson movie

  11. It’s fine, my kitten used to play with fox cubs, as a cat they remembered him and they played together.

  12. A fox came right up to my cat and the fox tried to sniff him. My cat just smacked the fox on the nose and it ran off 😂

  13. All the comments have no idea what they are talking about, bunch of facebook mum conspiracy theorists, foxes do not eat cats, the may get into a scrap with them, but they don’t kill and eat them lol

  14. Those worrying about the fox attacking the cat haven’t read that vast majority of territorial fights between cats and foxes end with the cat winning lol

  15. Good thing you were having a seizure whilst filming this, might have been difficult to see otherwise.

  16. When I was 6 I was walking home from school and I saw a neighbour’s cat I knew with it’s throat torn out by a fox, you should scare it off as much as you can

  17. I’ve seen the tabby that has claimed my garden, nose to nose with a fox before and they were just sniffing each other. Neither was trying to be aggressive. It happens.

  18. That fox wants to eat your cat. My mate watches foxes out his back window down the fields killing house cats. They toy with them, have a few nibbles then leave them for dead.

  19. This is not cute behaviour please keep your cat safe

Fox’s especially urban foxes in a time of need have been known to attack or see your fluff as food

  20. ‘Oh wow Mr.Sarcasm’

Just when you think theyre friends, on second thought, the fox looks kinda hungry, and the cat is sitting there thinking about its territory and cat food.
Why do people post pictures of thier missing cat unless a neighbours fed it??

  21. Cute clip, do you have a type of palsy as that camera work was giving me motion sickness…

Foxes normally fight with cats, you’re lucky…

  22. True story: one time I dressed up in a crocodile costume and thought I’d try and freak out my cats. Persian freaked out but the ginger one just went “oh cool, here’s a crocodile I can be friends with.” Gingers will pal up with anything.

  23. Our feral cat sleeps with the foxes – especially on hot days. Sometimes they also just chill on the shed together.
