Copies sold seem low no ? How did game of the year only sell 15m especially if compared to non game of the year games
No idea why zelda is so high. The world is enormous but shallow. The need to replace weapons every few hits is horrible. You still have to go through plot-gates to advance.
I wanted to like it, got as far as the water kingdom, and interest died off.
Compared to Horizon, it lacks a lot. Didn’t even bother with tears of the kingdom.
For me it’s RDR2 and nothing even comes close besides Elden Ring. Zelda is fantastic as well but I don’t see, objectively speaking, how it can ever amount to what RDR2 has accomplished.
Breath of the Wild is easily the most overrated game of all time
Surprised to see Forza Horizon 5 on this list when it’s damn near a 1 to 1 copy of FH4 but with a bigger map
MGSV is unexpected but so well deserved in my opinion.
I’m surprised BotW is higher than TotK. I didn’t particularly enjoy the few hours I played BotW so I never bothered to check out the sequel, but I’ve only ever heard people say it’s a strict improvement over BotW.
Similarly, given what we have in the Hades 2 Early Access, I think it’s a drastic improvement over the first game I already loved. I can see it climbing a lot upon full release.
I’m sorry but neither GoW belongs that high up. I found the story to be boring and the combat to be lame and spammy. Graphically beautiful and great characters but I expected so much more. Also if you loved Balders Gate, please give Divinity Original Sin 2 a shot. Game is amazing.
I’m convinced that if CP2077 had been released in the state it’s in now it would be top 5
Where is TLOU? It has a 95 metacritic score but missing from the chart
Zelda definitely not a top 10 game of the last decade. Tears of the kingdom even less so
