  1. Ggs , why TF does this always has to happen man ?

We literally have no one for Monaco and the next week’s now and Ferran is also out for Villarreal

  2. Kind of expected with his history, unfortunately. That’s the down side of this transfer. Amazing player, but never gonna play a full season.

Hopefully no issues with the recovery.

  3. This is what I’ve been afraid of from the start. Olmo is an elite player, problem is he’s injury prone af. And with a club that has our luck there was no chance he would stay injury free. But I’m hoping and praying flick can work his magic

  4. Isn’t his hamstring the main reason he’s been out so often in the last 3 years? So literally the obvious reason everyone was against his transfer? I love his ability but as I said before this transfer, if he is injury prone when he comes how stupid do we look

  5. This is like the 5th time the exact same thing has happened in the last 2 seasons.
A player looks completely fine while being subbed off due to a minor discomfort, and then tommorows medical report comes, and says the players’ leg has fallen off.

  6. To be expected. We’ll enjoy him when he’s fit, unfortunately he’ll spend as much time on the team as time off..

We need to get used to play without him.

  7. We’re used to this. Nothing new. If we can’t replace an injured player, then we don’t deserve to win anything. I trust the team to try their best, regardless of who plays. Hopefully by the next 2-3 years, we’ll have better depth. But for now, we’ll have to do with paper thin depth.

  8. I’m shocked, I tell you. I, nor anyone else, saw an injury coming for a player that is chronically injured in the past 2-3 seasons.

Love that Olmo is scoring goals, but if he’s on the bench for a hamstring issue, he will be on the bench again for another hamstring issue.

  9. Reminder: he has been key in all the matches he has played. Scored equaliser against Vallecano & he has been starter in both the 2 big wins over Valladolid & Girona. He is very important for our final 3rd.

  10. I just calculated that he will miss the next 6 games (Monaco, Villareal, Getafe, Osasuna, Young Boys, Alaves only 2 DIFFICULT matches) and be back after the next internat. break (20.10) when we play Bayern (23.10) and Madrid (27.10). So he will come rested into those games so its not THAT bad actually.

  11. Yeah this sucks, but as others have pointed out, kind of expected. No reasons to raise any alarms though. 4 weeks may seem long, but remember we have (yet another) international break in a few weeks. So he’s actually ”only” out for 3 leauge games and 2 CL games for at 5 games total. We should be able to do well without him for that amount. He has had a great start, so lets hope for a speedy recovery and a healthier/stronger Olmo on the other side.
