  1. Only english you will hear in italy is random english words in italian sentences cuz some teens want to look cool.

  2. Your fancy words are just our normal latin derived words, just better because they didn’t go through French.

  3. Why don’t you use actually like it should? (Actuellement in French, Attualmente in Italian, Aktuell in German, etc).

  4. There was never a higher (and more awkward) compliment than a British person telling me “I’m sorry but I don’t know what that word means.”.

    Like “Oh.. wait, but, what, it’s your language, I don’t under… ok, sure never mind, so it means…”

  5. From my perspective, it’s more like Scots are the end boss after you got past the Scousers. Full DVD set of Red Dwarf helped a lot with the latter, though. I’m now trying to work up the bravery to face all episodes of Burnistoun on Youtube in the hope it might do something similar for my ability to decode Scottish.
