Guys, let’s start a coup!
Lukoshenko stood in front of a white, red, white flag and promised to abide by the constitution. In a couple of years, he will change the constitution, flag, and coat of arms
Sad fact about red-white color in Belarus: if some of citizens will decide to wear red and white clothes or to put red and white curtains in their homes not because of political views but just because of design… they will face jail for 15 days…
Then Belarusians allowed their flag to be changed and Russian to become the main language of the country, and here we are
What communist evil has done.
Belarus should have been liverated by NATO decades ago.
It could be 4th baltic country now but their fate was to become russian puppet state, what a shame.
As usual Russian skid mark
It will probably be controversial, but I think the current flag just looks better, regardless of what it symbolizes. Maybe it would be possible to combine the two somehow
Interesting piece of Russian history.
A pity that the white-red-white flag is gone, but I guess it’s fitting that whenever a dictator takes over the flag of independent Belarus has to be brought down too.
Minsk almost had a revolution wasn’t successful oh well
>Klawdziy Duzh-Dushewski,80 a Roman-Catholic born into an impoverished szlachta family. ,80 a Roman-Catholic born into an impoverished szlachta family.
>Duzh-Dushewski was born into an impoverished family of the Lithuanian nobility.
Unsurprisingly a Catholic, despite Orthodox Christians making over 80% of Belarus virtually all early Belarusian nationalists were Catholics, Lithuanians and Poles…🤔

33 years ago? No. [106 years](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belarusian_Democratic_Republic).
