That is insane. Like almost incomprehensibly bad. That is for one freakin quarter.

Donald Trump thinks that the U.S. economy is (and is only) his personal stock because nothing else matters to him. It’s the same as when he was President he thought that the U.S. was his personal property. “His” White House. “His” military. “His” border. Etc., etc., etc.
I don’t have the finances to play options.
But if I did: I would have bought puts on this trash when it was at $70.
It is at an all time low coincidentally.
I was in the camp thinking that he would sell today. But now I’m thinking that he’s going to wait a bit: He can’t afford to piss off his most ardent supporters right now.
The price will probably bounce back some after today if he doesn’t sell, although nowhere near its previous valuation. I’m thinking that he waits until after he loses the election and quietly drops it all. He may even pull some shady shenanigans so that the sale isn’t discovered for many months.
If he were to win the election, the stock would be the perfect avenue for foreign actors to funnel money directly into his pockets. He’s not going to drop it unless it’s certain that he won’t win.
