There is a small scrap of good news though. The AMOC, which brings warmth to Europe, is under threat from arctic meltwater. HOWEVER, if you look at a map of ocean currents, you will see that the other end of the AMOC is at the Antarctic peninsula, where the current needs low salinity to rise to the surface. Long story short, melting antarctic ice will keep the AMOC going even if Greenland melts
