Norway, caring more about lobsters than about whales⦠fucking weirdos.
No, its in all ways practical illegal in Denmark as well, because it conflicts with our general animal welfare laws.
Xenos sentient should be eliminated before it’s too late
Wrong, it is not legal to boil lobsters alive in Denmark, it is against the animal welfare act. It stipulates that animals must be protected as best as possible against pain, suffering, anxiety and significant inconvenience, and that whoever wants to euthanize an animal must ensure that the animal is euthanized as quickly and as painlessly as possible.
And according to ‘The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration’ this encompasses lobsters aswell
So when preparing lobster, you jam a knife down the lobsters brainstem thus killing it as fast and painlessly as possible, before boiling it.
The Swiss when the cooking recipe specifies that the lobster be chilled
Is that last emoji a lobster or a Barry?
How am I supposed to get lobster souls into my sandwiches, if Iβm not boiling them alive?
If I kill them before boiling them. The soul is gone, Before I can guide it with the steam.
Based. We should learn more about animal rights, but with such a culture centered on food and tradition in italy I don’t expect any improvement anytime soon
Edit: I might be a sheep shagger but consent is always paramount for me. Also I can be quite romantic, you know
I’m not a vegetarian, but this is barbaric and pisses me off.
I find it odd that we draw the line at lobsters. Why are they always talked about? We eat a shitload of crawfish in Sweden but nobody ever talks about them even though they’re basically just small lobsters. Nobody is “killing” crawfish humanely.
Also all the fish we pull onto boats and just let them suffocate for hours. Imagine how different the world would be if fish could scream like land animals. I’m not saying I have a solution, but it’s an interesting thought.
A lobster looks like an offensive weapon to weapon me, so its probably legal to have one in the UK alive or not.
Another GrΓΌnen moment…

What if I kill the lobster with boiling water before cooking it?
I am a criminal
These new definitions of “Western Europe” keep getting weirder and weirder…
