What Israel accomplished against Hezbollah is so brilliant in multiple ways.
1) Force Hezbollah into using low tech pager.
2) Create shell company to manufacture and distribute explosive pagers and walkie talkies to Hezbollah.
3) Send signal to make users to pick up and activate the explosives.
4) “Secure” communications disrupted.
5) Many leaders severely injured or killed that created leadership vacuum.
It will take time for Hezbollah to recover from such a damaging attack.
I can’t figure out if Israel did this in the hopes of averting a war, or sowing chaos before an actual invasion.
No way there’s not a major war about to start.
