Is it a bomb or is it a balloon?

  1. Heritage Foundation: “They’re not balloons and they’re not home made, they were made in a factory, a bomb factory, they’re bombs.”

Trump: “we were just kidding about all that ‘bomb’ stuff.”

  2. Trump doesn’t give 2 💩s about the USA or its citizens. He is running for president to stay out of prison.

His plan, if elected, along with the GOP, is to finish the implementation of Project 2025.

Project 2025 has been going on for over 40 years. It started as Mandate for Leadership.

**Mandate for Leadership** is a series of books published by The Heritage Foundation, an American conservative think-tank based in Washington, D.C. They offer specific conservative policy recommendations designed to be implemented by the federal government.

The books have traditionally been released to coincide with an incoming U.S. presidential administration. *The first edition was released in 1981, following the election of Ronald Reagan, to serve as policy guidance for the incoming Reagan administration.* **The latest edition, published in April 2023, is a major component of Project 2025.**

**So, vote Harris-Walz and democrats down ballot on November 5, 2024.**

Republicans without a party and Independents must hold their noses and vote for Harris-Walz and democrats down ballot. **Country before party.**

  3. The most depressing part about project 2025 is that if Trump loses it just becomes project 2029, then 2033, then project 2037 and so on until the principle architects and partner organizations get a willing partner in the oval office.

The quality that conservatives have which liberals do not is patience. The only liberal causes that have had a concerted effort over many decades were civil rights and gay rights, and that’s mostly because the politicians didn’t get involved until it was convenient – and even then their durability is questionable at best.

Conservatives are relentless, they needle their way into policy with thousands of seemingly benign procedural or funding changes to the point that they get what they want and it’s extremely durable because undoing it is so hard.

  4. At this point, I don’t believe that Republicans are talking to contemporary people when they tell their obvious lies. They’re shouting at future historians. They’re trying to write a first draft of a history that shows them as some kind of victors against an unnameable darkness (wokeness they call it).

They don’t care if you believe what they say or not. They’re just giving plausible deniability to their offspring, through the generations, that their ancestors aren’t the objective horrible people they appear to be today.

It’s like how immediately after the Civil War, the surviving rich southerners started building monuments to their fallen soldiers that talked about how the Civil War was a noble struggle for the rights of the downtrodden white people, and not a war to keep black people enslaved.

They didn’t believe it then. And they didn’t care if any contemporary northerner believed it either.

They were just giving their great grandchildren talking points for why it’s still cool to fly the flag of treason.
