  1. Heres the thing, they are going all out within they have been allowed, Putin has ordered the FSB to NOT take troops from the Donbass. The FSB has taken a good number from all other combat fronts, and a bit from the Donbass as well because they really need the troops, but Russia is unable to conduct maneuver warfare for many reasons, and thats how Ukraine is currently fighting so, Russia is unable to push the Ukrainians out

  2. They will not leave Crimea even though Ukraine did not blow up the bridge. It is Russia’s last stand.

  3. Having a Ukrainian invasion right on Russian soil works marvels for recruitment and production.

Extending supply lines into Kursk takes a lot of resources for Ukraine. Just like it takes a lot of resources for Russia to supply its own invading forces.

  4. They are like a monkey with its hand in a jar. Just won’t let go of what it has in its hands in order to pull its hand out.

  5. They are going all out to take back Kursk. Going “all out” means throwing in everything you have available.

This is that. This is everything available. It’s all they’ve got.

  6. Most of the comments here are quite delusional… I’m all for Ukraine and strategically speaking they know way better than us, but so do the Russians.
They are playing the long game with Kursk and judging by recent reports this last few days they have been taking back a lot of territory there.

Unfortunately it’s a matter of time and blood before they take back all their land.
And then UA will attack somewhere else!

  7. Russia only knows how to fight by bombing the shit out of everything first.

This leaves them with a problem, since if they level the occupied areas there will be Russians there who will tell their friends and relatives what Russia is doing, even if Russia tries to blame the Ukrainians for blowing up their own positions.

  8. Bc they’ve been in Crimea for 10 years whereas UKR would have a really tough time to hold the region. If they leave Crimea now, it might be over.

  9. At this moment they just can’t.

That is why the recruitment is on overdrive right now so they could amass more soldiers.

  10. It’s not the priority. Ukraine has to fight with an arm behind its back there. Because it doesn’t have permission to launch missiles into Russia. Russia can use conscripts to hold the front. As soon as they push Ukraine back they can’t.

  11. because they don’t know how to take kursk back without destroying all the villages and killing the civilians
