Dubois’s performance blew me away. I expected a tough fight, but that knockout was insane.
I’ve never really rated Joshua, he is a bit of a glass hammer, he has power, but if he gets hit he tends to go down.
And Dubois does look a bit good.
Do you think we are now less likely to get Fury vs Joshua, or more likely?
Joshua hasn’t really looked right since his loss to Andy Ruiz, Dubois really turned up.
One of the best sights in sport seeing Joshua lose, especially after all the shite he pulled in the build up talking down to Dubois etc
Only seen the highlights but Joshua never really seemed to get his legs back from round one, when he was pushing Dubois back in round 5 I thought here we go but what a short sly right hook he finished him with.
I wouldn’t fancy Joshua in the rematch but he clearly had the power to hurt Dubois too, if he can avoid the bombs he could win. I doubt it but it’s possible.
I’ve always been an AJ supporter but last night was a shambles. He doesn’t deserve a rematch, he needs to do the right thing and leave the sport instead of chasing more and more money
Joshua looked so flat footed. So slow. So predictable. DDD just went in there and straight up battered him. No fear, no respect, just in getting you outta here. Just highlighted all of AJ’s deficiencies tbh. Wasn’t expecting it. Thought AJ would be sharp, and would dominate. Wow what a finish.
I thought AJ looked scared from the moment he walked into the ring. Since that Ruiz fight he just needs a couple of knocks to the side of the head and he turns into Mr Wibble-Wobble.
