  1. I’m sure he was frustrated he couldn’t break down 10 men until the last second. I bet if you asked him tomorrow he wouldn’t necessarily react the same way. Players get a mic shoved in their face directly after the game and react a certain way sometimes. It is what it is.

I do look forward to Ange rolling into Manchester thinking he can keep the same tactics and not get the doors blown off. I’ll pin this post until then.

  2. Its true. Arsenal has a small club mentality, parking the bus. Them not playing to win last year when they had a chance to win the league was beyond pathetic.

If youre not playing to win, youre not winning.

  3. salty arsenal fans 😂 maybe if you actually try to score you’ll get the full 3 points against us. Going for the draw last season is the reason you lot lost the league. thought you’d learn your lesson by now

  4. Reads a bit petulent, like how small children behave when they realize someone else has the upper hand.

  5. First comment is obvious. Sure. Second an odd thing to say about a team you havent beaten in three games and were losing to today for 60 minutes.

  6. Is he delusional? Literally winning the game at 11v11 and needed a dodgy ref decision. The first half was the very definition of a team trying to win the game. He just sounds rattled to me.

  7. His words hold some truth BEFORE today’s game. After Roddi went down Arsenal dominated them. But many of the games between these teams have seen Arsenal bottle it and play for ties

  8. It’s true. Liverpool is a big team and Arsenal who has not won the league in 20 years is not.

  9. Clear from the post match interviews that Arsenal are getting under City players skin. I love this.

Im sure City loved there big chummy rivalry with Liverpool because they’d play good games and then City would just win the league. Liverpool wanted to be the Barca to City’s Madrid. Arsenal don’t care about that and are happy being Atletico if they need to.

That’s not really true about Liverpool also, certainly of their visits to the Etihad. Won there once, in 2015. Maybe that’s why Bernardo loves their approach so much.

  10. I think Arsenal showed up today. The game wasn’t flowing with Oliver stopping the play as often as he did. Arsenal had to adjust to them being a man down and being in the lead. So they were playing to win today until Trossard sending off in my opinion. They were pressing and stretching the game, maybe not as consistent or dominant as City had been doing. I don’t think the plan was to park the bus today until we knew our best plan to maintain a win or even draw being 10 men vs city at home was to go straight defensive. Arsenal is gonna be very bitter with this result and I’m very confident they’ll take their frustrations out and dominate like they did in December and January of this year. We keep moving! COYG

  11. I’m pretty sure Arsenal have won the league before (can’t be sure really), but does he expect us to play attacking football while one goal up, one player down, and in a game everyone expects us to lose? Its fun to see him so rattled though.

  12. We turned up to win this game until bogus red we literally faced them head on and we’re winning

  13. What is this absolutely asinine narrative about Arsenal not playing for the win? It’s as if the bogus red never happened

  14. City playing an entire half with a man advantage and celebrating like they won the league on a draw, at home, is hilarious.

Frankly, Arsenal were playing a man down from the jump, as there was clear ref bias. But I suppose we don’t talk about that, and we all just pretend like the refs aren’t bought.

  15. Seeing as Arsenal were up 2-1 until the last kick of the match, seems incredibly weird to suggest they weren’t trying to win. Maybe he’s upset that he had a horrendous match and barely got a point while playing nearly 60 minutes at home up a man?

  16. I hate Arsenal and most of their fans but I’ve said this about my teams 100x – the best football is winning football. None of this “beautiful football” nonsense.

They were seconds away from doing the job.
It’s not like we played directly at them when we beat them three times in one month in 21.

  17. So in Silva’s words, last season Madrid played the way they did at the etihad because they haven’t won the ucl. Hmmmm interesting

  18. Nah they fucking laughed at us . These cunts , cheating bastards they know that Arsenal are knocking on the door for quite some time now . I loved it at the end when things got physical , get mad and fcuk some city players for me , Arsenal . These City 0layers are fo sure scared seeing Arsenal dominate them like in the first half .

  19. Ruben Dias had more shots at goal than your striker Bernie. Given this and the fact you drew, seems like you weren’t trying to win the match either.

  20. Couldn’t beat a 10 man Arsenal side at home without odegarrd, trossard, Saka and fully fit white. Have some shame ya midget

  21. City fans turns so viscous when they start losing. They lose a match, and suddenly, they all look like bullies.
