  1. Some scary shit. In Vietnam grunts were dropped into LZs by chopper. Now we have this. Imagine getting dragon droned out of the trench to be met by a line of these.

  2. This is the first war to be fought in the new age of technology. In 2 years we have seen the stance of the soldier go from ambush a tank from a standoff distance (Stugna, Javelin etc.) to a Gen-Z bomber pilot with a drone. As the Ukrainians and others around the military industry keep innovating newer and better ways of deploying death from the air, land and sea, warfare will be forever changed.

I’m sure a lot of the think tanks that develop battlefield strategies are studying and changing their doctrines of attack and defense about as fast as most people change their underwear. Slava Ukraine.

  3. Remember when the soviets strapped bombs to dogs and trained them to run under tanks and into bunkers? That didnt work super well because dogs arnt robots, but now…

  4. Imagine being a Ruzzian soldier in trenches somewhere in Ukraine. You have the 2 weeks of training, gear from the WW2 with wooden plates at your plate carries and your hometown doesn’t yet have flushing toilets or pawed roads. And then you watch as a flying robot drops a walking robot in front of your trenches…

  5. This video is fake as fuck. Everyone knows the little doggy legs would start circling and pawing while still in the air as it got close to the ground

  6. Drone tanks or buggies. One pilot to drive, one pilot for each gun to shoot. If vehicle gets disabled, pilot crew respawns in a new vehicle that launches from a mothership. Coordinated by observer drones in the sky and protected by swarms that can hit targets of opportunity.

  7. Now imagine 500 of these drones swarm in dropping 500 armed robot dogs with automatic and human controlled modes advance on your position. You shoot, kill, blow them up but they keep coming. No amount of bullets scare or hurt them, the only thing that stops them from advancing is the total destruction of their circuits. They move forward endlessly and indiscriminately, wave after wave, you are just killing stuff with no emotional value to anyone, stuff that is coming to kill you.

    Shit is scary.

  8. Grew up watching Terminator. I never thought I’d see skynet in action in my lifetime.

This is both incredibly awesome (as in awe-inspiring) and utterly depressing at the same time.

I know we’ve been conceptualizing and working on stuff like this for a while… but the fact that it actually has been made and will likely be deployed in a war right now is awful.

The amount of destruction and devastation that has created the circumstances where Ukraine is being forced to innovate in such ways… is just so very sad.

Imagine if the minds that worked to create this were instead free and able to put their energy into other endeavors. Russian is taking so much from the world.

  9. This is the Brit alliance dog. (BAD2) A UK company supplied them awhile back. They have thermal-infrared camera’s and remote-sensing tech.

They are not military grade but made with civy parts. They survey land while identifying mines and booby traps, useful in dense vegetation or underground / indoors where aerial drones have trouble. Even just ferrying aid under hostile conditions.
