  1. Grateful she’s survived so far, and hopefully every Russian invader in that fateful video is either a POW or fertilizer. Damn bastards, trying to steal their neighbors’ homes.

We need to hep Ukraine expel these criminals. Putin’s greed can only be stopped by lethal force. Help Ukraine defend itself. The need is urgent. Please donate to [https://u24.gov.ua/](https://u24.gov.ua/) right now.

  2. That is great to hear. I have often wondered if the flowers ever germinated, the probability I guess is high.

  3. Glad to hear it. Hopefully the soldier took her warning and left but my feeling is that he is now sunflower fertilizer.

  4. I was just thinking about her this morning, wondering if she was okay. I’m glad she’s doing well and made it out of there safely.

  5. I’ve just bought a lovely jumper from SaintJavelin which represents her comment. Brave lady, glad she’s safe

  6. One of the great quotes of this horrific invasion. This and the soldier that said “We’re lucky they’re so fucking stupid.” Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦

  7. They should have known she meant it…she wasn’t messing around 🫶🏻🇺🇦🇬🇧🇺🇦🇪🇺🇺🇦🇺🇸🇺🇦🫶🏻😎

  8. Glad to hear it. I think the image of this unassuming woman making such a threatening comment to an armed invader helped to change the minds of some westerners who thought Ukrainians and Russians are the same.

  9. I’m so glad to know Ms Svitlana is alive, I’ve thought of her often and her pure unadulterated courage, many blessings.

  10. I wonder what the state of the soldier is now… still alive or sunflower fertilizer? I’m betting on fertilizer.

  11. So many irreplaceable moments from this horrible war. This is another I’ll never forget, right there with Zelensky asking for ammo and the Snake Island audio.

    Slava Ukraini, heroyam Slava 🇺🇦

  12. I am so glad to hear this!!

After her original encounter was circulated – I was afraid some big orc would target her because he knew she was right.

The fuck you russian warship guys – believed to had been killed- survived,
now the defiant sunflower seed grandmother is not only alive but has been moved to a safer environment

  13. Oh my goodness, that’s great news! I didn’t have a lot of hope considering what a rallying cry she became and knowing that the orcs had her on video. Does anyone know anymore about how she got out? The tweet ( the “x”? ugh) was pretty light on details. Congratulations on freedom Svitlana, I hope you know your courage was heard in the farthest corner of the world. She deserves a postage stamp. Ukrainian government? I know you are on here. She really does, she was a big morale boost like the russian warship quote. Bright blessings Svitlana.
