Drying machine for water damage?

Hello everyone

Just looking for some clarification. We recently had a water damage in the bathroom from upstairs. The repair person who came to fix it left this machine here, which from Google looks like a dryer. They said the machine would be here for 2 weeks.
I am just looking for information:
1) It is placed right next to the bath tub, is it waterproof?
2) what not to do next to the machine? Do I need to do something?
Thank you.

  1. Make sure it’s power useage is recorded, so you can make the party at fault pay for it.

These things can be very energy intensive.
