  1. Princess Alexia of the Netherlands arrived in London to start her studies at University College London (UCL). The Dutch Royal House announced that Princess Alexia is in London and shared a photo of her at University College London. This week, Princess Alexia will start a bachelor’s degree in Science and Engineering for Social Change at the Faculty of Engineering, University College London.

  2. The teenager, whose parents are King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, had felt ‘a bit stressed about choosing’ where she might study at university. According to the NL Times, she was widely expected to study at the University of Groningen.

  3. Following her graduation, the Dutch royal took a year out, which she says was spent ‘travelling, working and all sorts of things.’ While that sounds like a fairly typical gap year schedule, there was of course some activities that fall well outside the remit of your common-or-garden post-college summer. Weeks ago, she attended the F1 Grand Prix of Netherlands at Circuit Zandvoort before joining her family for Prince’s Day earlier this month.
