    120 gm chestnut mushrooms, (if unavailable use button mushrooms instead)

    salt and pepper

    1 tablespoon salted butter

    1 garlic clove, peeled

    1 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, to taste

    1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

    1/3 cup brandy or cognac

    1 cup heavy cream

    yeh could of had a better sear on the steak, but was nice and moist. sauce was luxurious, perfect combo.

  2. Great combo, sauce looks awesome on top of the steak. Yeah, it could use a harsher sear but that’s not a deal breaker, you already have lots of umami from the shrooms.
