  1. As per [original article](https://www.irishstar.com/news/us-news/fox-news-cuts-donald-trumps-33762540) 📰:

    – Donald Trump has been known for his lengthy, often off-topic tirades, leaving audiences bewildered about his initial message. This habit has drawn criticism from political pundits across the spectrum, and not even a medical emergency could interrupt him.

However, it appears that even the typically supportive Fox News has reached its limit, cutting short one of his economic diatribes.

“I was a big buyer. I bought a lot of things here. There is no place to buy furniture like North Carolina; you were the furniture capital of the world, but now so much of that business has been stolen from you and is made in China and other places,” Trump remarked during an event in North Carolina.

“And, by the way, it is not as good; the quality is nowhere near. You used to make chairs for the last few years, but now they break in 2 months,” he continued.

Trump’s speech meandered from the topic of North Carolina’s furniture to the quality of Chinese-made products, eventually touching on lawsuits against hotels due to chair-related accidents, reports the Express US.

Such rambling speeches have become a signature of Trump’s style, a departure from his more focused approach in 2016.

At the same gathering, Trump pledged to revive the furniture industry in North Carolina.

“All of your furniture makers are going to come back and come back bigger and stronger and better than ever before,” he promised.

He linked his trade policies to the animosity he claimed other countries harboured towards him.

Fox News abruptly stopped broadcasting Trump’s speech after he embarked on an extended tirade about the supposed deterioration in furniture quality, as seen in a tweet with the video clip.

“This is why people in countries want to kill me,” Trump declared.

“They’re not happy with me. It is; it’s a risky business. This is why they want to kill me. They only kill consequential presidents; remember that. But this is why. If you’re one of the countries that’s affected, you’re not happy with what I’m saying.”

During the same address, the ex-president also made the odd suggestion that Ukraine should concede victory to Russia in the ongoing conflict. His remarks came during another disjointed discourse in North Carolina on Wednesday.

He further described the Ukrainian populace as “dead” and the nation itself as “demolished,” prompting speculation about his willingness to make concessions regarding Ukraine’s future if he were to be re-elected.

Trump posited that Ukraine should have offered compromises to Vladimir Putin prior to his February 2022 incursion, asserting that even “the worst deal would’ve been better than what we have right now.”

He elaborated: “If they made a bad deal, it would have been much better. They would’ve given up a little bit. And everybody would be living, and every building would be built, and every tower would be aging for another 2,000 years.”

  2. Embarrassing. Can you imagine all the eye rolling that goes on with the fools that have staked their futures on him.

  3. Sad when elderly have cognitive decline. His dad had dementia, I would not wish that fate on anybody

  4. That’s right – America doesn’t have much manufacturing any more. So, when Trump puts all those 200% tariffs in place, exactly how are American consumers supposed to afford *anything* they need ??? It’s not like we can build factories overnight – and even if we did, all those raw materials from overseas will have Trump tariffs on them.

Nobody cares about lasting quality anymore – just being able to afford the cheaply made bare essentials that gets you by is hard enough today.

But we expect nothing more from out-of-touch Trump. An ‘expert wall builder’, his wall fell over in the first storm.

  5. Biden didn’t sound his best, at all, at the debate.

This guy gives rhetorical most non-sensical, word salad-y, tangential non-answers always and no one bats an eye on the right. The media doesn’t call it out.

    It’s so fucking frustrating.

  6. He probably sat down & broke a chair & now is obsessed with that. You’ll hear the same rambly story an hour from now. Weird grandpa

  7. You ever notice there’s a common thread about places he sits the toilet has to flush it 30 times. I wonder if when the chair broke on him did poop fly out of the edges of his diaper.

  8. Is that photo from the event? He looks demented

Edit: ok, I read the article he also did the “jerking off two dudes at the same time” dance

  9. This moron was probably buying the worst constructed, least expensive furniture for his hotels. He didn’t know where the hell it came from. He just told his people to go cheap.
