  1. To be fair, Karlsruhe-Berlin is 650km when Paris-Strasbourg is only 480km…

    So Hans, you’d only need to go from 5h00 to 2h30, it’s ok if you don’t reach 1h45.

  2. The important point for the german time is that this is if the train is punctual. Realistically is somewhere between 5h and 12h.

  3. DSB InterCity”lightning” takes almost three hours from Aarhus to Copenhagen. It costs just around 70€. It’s a distance of 300km by car. 

  4. Berlin-Karlsruhe (as the crow flies): 526km for 105.2km/h

    Strasbourg-Paris: 395km for 225.7km/h

    But tbf, there’s like two interesting cities along that path in France. Germany has way more large cities along their route. Still ridiculous.
