Who are these “undecided voters” anyway?

  1. The undecided voters are not choosing between Harris and Trump. They are choosing between apathy and being a responsible citizen.

  2. My mother, in fairness – she’s not that engaged in the news and surrounded by trump fanatics and single-issue pro-lifers in her religious community, but values positive vibes, virtues and tolerance, so it’s a hard choice between the weird guy all her friends are hungry for and this new person who is confusingly both one who practices a more old-fashioned, familiar politics and one who is an unknown variable.

  3. “Undecided” means, “doesn’t care” or more likely, “republican who doesn’t want their neighbors to know they’re racist”.

  4. One is our last chance to save America and democracy and the other knows nothing about politics. Real hard to choose the obvious…

  5. I think they wanna feel special and be like woo’ed by the candidate especially in swing states. Hence the problem with like 5-7 states deciding it.

  6. They are people who don’t believe ¾ of the stuff said about Trump because they don’t like liberals.

  7. There are actual undecided voters. They don’t pay attention to politics until right before the election.

Yes, it’s irresponsible and more than half of the population is, by definition, before average intelligence. Their vote counts as much as yours (moreso in swing states, TBH). Act accordingly.

  8. again, there is no “undecided voters”. this are trumpers who are just ashamed to publicly declare their support for trump. this people are worst that pureblood magats, they know trump is spewing nonsense but they still support him.

  9. Undecided voters are either disingenuous/embarrased (rightfully so) trump turds, or people who drool onto their own chins wondering how the color green works.

  10. Well, I’m in South Dakota so if they are honest and admit Harris, I have to deal with MAGA idiots. Inversely, if they lie and just say Trump, then you have to 1. Say that out loud (gross) and 2. Try and be engaged by maga idiots who want to be chummy…

Good thing I love arguing with idiots!

    Harris/Walz 2024!

  11. I saw someone in a Discord server unironically say they were considering voting for Trump because Harris “wasn’t listening” to their Palestine protests.

  12. In my experience, they tend to be people who can see that Trump is horrifying – but they have fallen prey to right-wing propaganda regarding what a Democratic presidency would mean, and expect that Harris would open up the border to tens of millions of immigrants, would confiscate their guns, would get into a hot war with Russia, would crash the economy, and so on.

This isn’t so much an issue of these people being stupid, it’s an issue of them being victims of Fox and similar media sources. This is a serious and systemic problem, not something to be brushed aside with mockery.

  13. They’re not undecided, they’re ashamed and don’t want to admit it. Which is so sad, it’s so easy to just not vote for the guy who’s causing you such grief.

  14. On the one hand, I like having rights
    🫲🫱
But on the other hand, I don’t like anybody else having rights

  15. Are any of the people that say they are undecided voting for VP Harris?

I assume they are all voting for former President Trump. And simply are too embarrassed to admit it.

  16. “I haven’t been spoon fed Harris’s policies!”

    – people too fucking lazy to look at her policies right on her website

  17. family guy said it best” undecided voters are the biggest morons out there, you can say anything they will cheer you on” it was the episode when Lois was running for mayor, she says simple utterances and they all voted for her.

  18. People who have been over conditioned with pseudo intellectualism and overthink the decision thinking it’s a mass conspiracy and thinking that the “good guys” “might” be the “bad guys” but then does the same thinking to the other side so it’s just a big jumbled smooth brain dilemma

  19. every election cycle, undecided voters…..pffftttt

if by now, if a person can’t make the simple decision between 2 candidates and which is best for the the country, then maybe they are simply too stupid to vote, paralyzed from fear of making simple decisions, narcissists or probably all 3.

  20. The last two Trump presidency years, undecided just means “eventual Trump voter who just doesn’t want to admit that to themselves yet.” IIRC, both Biden and Clinton got around the % they were polling just before the election while Trump got most of the undecideds and some of the 3rd party vote added to his totals.

It makes sense if you think about it. Anyone who’s seen all that Trump has done over the past 8+ years and still can’t decide if he is worth their vote means they’ve already mentally decided they can tolerate his shittiness.

  21. Before the ABC debate, one of the “undecided voters” they had on the panel was a (self-described) 2016 Trump voter who went 2020 Biden but was leaning Trump again because “Harris just steals all his ideas like ‘build the wall.'”

Oh and he was the owner of the restaurant they were in.

  22. A republican too embarrassed or ashamed to admit to themselves or others that they are indeed a republican. Only a cruel individual would be okay with the hate and harm that comes from Trump and his cult. Look at the lie Vance admitted to telling that caused a whole headache for legal immigrants in Ohio. F*ck “undecided voters” they know damn well who they are voting for or they aren’t voting at all.

  23. The Daily podcast did an episode about undecided voters and they were saying shit like:
“Trump made absolutely disgusting remarks, looked like a kid in trouble, had no plans, talked nothing but gripes and revenge.. I’m just not sure who to vote for because I already have a house, so a house credit won’t help me”

    It is maddening.

  24. I actually am an undecided voter, and it’s not that I’m uninformed.

I’m not voting for Trump. I voted for him in 2016, voted for Biden in 2020 and I was going to vote for Biden this year but he dropped out. Now I’m undecided between Harris and Oliver.

I’m a libertarian and the Democratic party is about the closest thing we have to an actual libertarian party since the actual LP is filled with insanity. They actually did a decent job this time around and nominated Chase Oliver who seems reasonable. I’m leaning towards him and I’m leaning away from Harris because I absolutely cannot vote for a prosecutor, I am extremely anti police.

I live in a potential swing state, Texas, and I do think it would be funny if it flipped blue. But it’s hard to vote for somebody who perpetuates the fucked up criminal justice system that I have personally been victimized by in this country.

It’s also funny because I’m going to get so much hate on this from people who don’t respect people who are taking this seriously enough to think about the candidates and not just vote for the not Trump major candidate. My vote is serious to me and I’m having a hard time trying to figure out if I truly want to vote for a prosecutor because Trump is not good for the country, but I’m pretty undecided still.

At least I still have some time to think about it.

  25. Let’s be fair the bean brain morons are the ones who have willingly and wilfully chosen Trump

  26. It might tbe less confusing if America had parliament. The social incompatibilities it represents are more demographic and political than interpersonal.

  27. There’s only one kind of person who fits: the rare sane Republican who can clearly see Trump is a raving lunatic, but is too stubborn to ever vote Democrat.

  28. My hunch is that the majority of them are people who are racist enough to be racist, but not racist enough to say they are voting for a racist. It’s hard to believe people could be “torn” between these two

  29. People that either can’t be bothered to pay attention or like the attention from being undecided.

  30. Undecided voters arent named that because they havent decided who to vote for.

They haven’t decided if they’re voting at all.

  31. Just republicans that don’t want the stigma but are everybit as selfish, greedy and hypocritical.
