The Treasury seems to make this mistake all the time. I was recently reading a book on British political and economic history in the last hundred years or so and they always seem to pick the wrong option
I don’t see both of Reeves and Starmer lasting more than 2 and half years. This government turned an emphatic win into a dumpster fire in 3 months. The left and the right hate them.
It all spells panic rebrand, probably in 2026, after the Scottish elections.
How can we know this when the budget isn’t released yet? And I swear, if anyone says ‘winter fuel payment’ I will gouge my own eyes out.
