It’s so ridiculous. I mean Enosis would sound as a joke in Greece (and a cold one, too) but perhaps is a crude way to keep the island divided, so some people can enjoy spefific strip clubs, if you know what I mean.
This is a bait for turkish cypriots and low iq greek cypriots. Enosis is dead and not a viable option for the last 60 years.
A lot of people in RoC use similar rhetoric to support the status quo. “A Federal solution would give Turkey control over the whole island”
Wake up babe new Turkish AKP scare tactic has been released
Lol, you could made that argument regarding a unitarian state without checks & balances starting with veto rights. Yet, you cannot do so for a federation, let alone one with basic checks & balances, and practical assurances incl. communal based veto rights. If anything, it’s the other way around.
Sounds like something Trump would say
Although the Enosis plan was abandoned long ago, in a sense, it was indirectly achieved through Cyprus’s membership in the EU.
But even if Enosis had moved forward, the Muslim minority in Greece today enjoys freedoms and a quality of life that their “brothers” across the border can only dream of. Given this, it’s unclear why Turkish Cypriots would have any reason to fear Enosis!

LoL, like nobody is even thinking about that .
We are an equal member of the EU.
This is just used to scare Turkish Cypriots.
