Middle East – attention seeking as usual…
Is there an interactive version?
Wtf is this dumb map. The location for the circles is weird. Why isn’t there a circle for every country? Is the circle in Germany just Germany or all of Europe? Why are there 2 circles in Russia?
Its a good and interesting concept, but cluster data maps are sh*t. It’d be better if it were a cloropleth map for each country
Very interesting idea. I like it. This looks like a lot of work. I think that the design of the map could be improved tho. Maybe coloring each complete country with a different hue depending on how often it was mentioned?
I have also timestamps as another dimension – any recommendations how to add this in the plot together with mentioned count?
Can confirm, nothing has happened in Canada for the past year.

I’ll be extremely surprised if Iran is not mentioned even once in 365 days.
How did you gather the data? I assume, you didn’t watch every day with a paper and a pen
Now let’s compare this with the news sources from the other G7 nations
