I took this picture on my last visit to the city. It was quite a challenge to get, not just because of the walk to get to Calton hill with a large lens and a heavy tripod, but also due to the strong winds on this evening. I wanted to capture a long exposure so handheld wasn’t an option. Using my body as a wind block I managed to get a couple of good shots.

I was there only last week and got my wallet pick pocketed.What a shame of my memories of Edinburgh.Also i was advised that the local ATM was compromised by some dodgy device which didn’t affect me because all my £350 which was in my wallet along with my debit cards were stolen & when that sick feeling started to subside then i cancelled my cards.Who says crime doesn’t pay.
