  1. I will believe in this when it happens. Not a moment before.

Hezbollah is still much more powerful than the Lebanese army. If they want to stay south of the Litani, they will. The only force that can match them in ground combat is the IDF.

  2. God willing this would be the best outcome.

Lebanon army with support of Israel and US cleansing the rest of the Hezbollah terrorist garage and layout foundation for peace and recognition.

There is zero reason why Lebanon cannot have at least the relationship Jordan and Egypt has with Israel. There are no territorial disputes and no real reason to fight.

Seems like I am dreaming. But we can all hope for peace.

    God bless and good luck.

  3. I’m not holding my breath on that. It wouldn’t be the first time that a Lebanese politician made promises that were unworkable.

Hezbollah is a member of the governing coalition in Lebanon. Their Loyalty to Resistance party makes up a critical 15 seats in the Lebanese’s government’s 74 to 54 majority over the opposition.

Unless Hezbollah wants to withdraw, the government has few options to force them to do so.

Hezbollah’s military strategy has long been built around the idea that they benefit from drawing the Israelis into a ground war in Southern Lebanon where they have established strong defenses and infrastructure to fight Israel. It would be very surprising if Hezbollah abandoned that strategy, especially when they’ve suffered casualties from the air campaign and feel a need to restore their military reputation.
