  1. Submission Statement: In an interview to a Turkish outlet, former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad alleged that a special unit in Iran, created to combat Israeli espionage, was infiltrated by Mossad. He claimed the unit’s leader and 20 agents were working for Mossad, responsible for stealing Iranian nuclear documents in 2018 and assassinating Iranian nuclear scientists. Ahmadinejad accused Israel of conducting complex operations within Iran, which remain unaddressed by Iranian officials.

  2. Reminds me of that time Syria appointed an Israeli spy to be their Deputy Defense Minister.

  3. Take his word with a grain of salt.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has butted heads with just about everybody during and after his presidency; including the Supreme Leader and the IRGC. There is a reason why he was barred from running for reelection during Iran’s 2024 presidential election.

This could be a political ploy to undermine his rivals.
