Fun fact: October 1st is only a nominal day to celebrate the independence of our island. The actual independence date is August 16th 1960, however due to its proximity to another bank holiday (Ascension of Holy Mary «δΡκαΟΡνΟΞ±ΟΞ³ΞΏΟ ΟΟΞΏΒ») on 15th of the same month, it was decided to set the date of the holiday later.
Happy anniversary to Cyprus that became our second home country. Wishing the country and its ppl all the best π

Congrats, Cyprus!
I flew to Cyprus for the weekend last week. Gotta say that every time I visit, I am just being enchanted by the beauty of the island. Larnaca still standing as my favourite city in Europe/Asia.
