  1. Wait, aren’t there states where you can only vote to the party you’re registered to?
Plz correct me if I’m wrong.

  2. That would be funny, if we all registered R then elected Kamala, can you imagine the screaming?

  3. I’m a registered Independent (my state allows this) so I’ll never get purged.

The only down side is that I’m harassed by both sides right up to the election.

  4. What is the point of registering with a certain political party in the first place? Not a response to this post, but just wondering overall.

  5. My strategy. Plus’s they count on my vote but no voting republican at all this time.

  6. If you live in an area with closed primaries then it makes sense to be part of the majority so you can vote in the primaries which might be the only election for local offices. It’s also fun to disarm folks by saying things like “look I’ve been a registered Republican for 20 years and I just think it’s about damn time the working class gets the respect it deserves, stop letting these damn elites run everything, ya know? We gotta seize the means of production so we can all live a better life.”

  7. Been doing this since 2022 in Florida. I was independent, & we can’t vote in the primaries. There was a large group that did this, so much so that it was noticed, “everyone is switching to republican” yes, but also no.😌

Red State, red county. I’m going to make sure my vote is Blue and Heard.
