Dressing for Berlin in mid-December

Is this too big of a jacket to walk around in Berlin, Belgium, and Prague? I’m from Los Angeles USA and am not used to snow at all.

  1. There likely won’t be snow in any of these cities in mid December. It’s more likely to be around 5-10 Degrees and raining. That said, you definitely see lots of people wearing jackets like these at Christmas markets. You probably just have to try it out.

  2. If you’re gonna be chilling outside, you probably want a warm coat. If your mostly just walking outside from place to place, then this coat would be too warm for me. I would get something less warm and layer it, then you can wear the coat while your are walking around all day. And if your gonna be standing around for a few hours sipping mulled wine, then you can layer some warm wool layer underneath.
