Vance’s response during the debate was particularly insidious. He managed to cast doubt on the existence of climate change while at the same time taking it off the table “for the sake of argument”. Then he targeted the actual Biden policies which forced Walz to defend the fact that the US under Biden is the #1 oil & gas producer regardless of the climate policies. And that this would continue at the same time the climate policies were being put in place. It wasn’t even clear if he was saying that gas was somehow green?
