  1. Russian industry: We need workers

    Russian army: *yoink!*

    > Salaries for high-demand specialties were often three to four times higher than the average regional salary.

    And that contributes to inflation.

  2. I’m pretty sure this will be the downward spiral of Russia’s war effort. Competition between the military, arms manufacturers and the rest of the economy will simultaneously strain the financial resources of the state and the defense industry, and while still not sufficiently staffing either. Starved of troops and replacement vehicles, etc. the regime has a dilemma of mobilization or full war economy to avoid a precipitous decline in capacity to fulfill their objectives.

  3. Putin is running out of McNamara’s idiots, now digging in factory workers, later the Moscow, & St. Petersburg people. First, Putin has to go through senior citizens first of course.

  4. So they send all the younger males to get slaughtered, then they are all surprised when they didn’t have enough males to work in the defense plants

  5. Russia wants to conscript and mobilize and put people in factories all at the same time while incapacitating hundreds if not thousands of people every day. You gotta chose Ruskies or die slowly which is what I guess u will chose to do over and over again.

  6. >Shift work in [Russian defense industry plants](https://kyivindependent.com/drone-strike-causes-explosions-at-facility-in-krasnodar-krai-russian-officials-say/) is often brutal, the BBC reported. Some positions advertised 11-hour shifts with no days off.

    >When a BBC correspondent phoned a company to clarify the details about the length of a shift, the recruiter refused to provide the information, but immediately offered to hire the reporter.

    What?! 😂

  7. Better dust off those Soviet WWII war production motivational posters. It’s time for the reappearance of *Raisa the Riveter*.

  8. Wow this seems so similar to a certain central European country in the late 30′ to early 40’s. Waiting for the slave labour to start

  9. Anyone know where can I get a list of the company names and street addresses of, say 25 to 30, of the biggest defense plants? I’m pretty sure that’s where my strengths lie. I’d like to spruce up my resume and apply for some of these positions.
