I still dream about the aldi pranut butter and chocolate cheesecake from a few years ago knowing its never coming back
Think we need a new thermostat (or two, actually, as we have them upstairs and downstairs). No idea how much this is going to cost but it’s not great timing.
Everything is expensive.

The hassle of filling in the UC application yesterday has triggered a major stress response and I can barely move this morning. Everything hurts.
Don’t think my boiler is going to last much longer. I have a strong suspicion that the “water leak” I’ve been notified of is me having the boiler on at a constant 18 degrees last month so I don’t freeze to death in this shitpit house.
I turned the boiler off last night (along with the water as requested by the water company) because I was worried it would really break the boiler to run with no water coming through.
Woke up freezing and condensation on the windows again.
Ah well, time to get that “double glazing” window film people tell me about. And a shiny new credit card for the incoming expense 🙁
I think I have the start of a cold.
Likely culprits are work colleagues and the air con recirculating the germs.
Oh well, best get some sachets and some hot Ribena.
