This isn’t any new news. We all knew Flick’s playstyle is all about out scoring the opponent. High risk high reward tactics and I don’t think none of us mind it at all. We are winning games convincingly
And we scored 31, where’s the problem? During Xavi’s season we scored 2 goals if we were lucky deeper into the season
Once Araujo and Christensen return, this problem will be resolved more or less. More or less because Flick simply isn’t and shouldn’t be defensive-minded coach, his aggressive playing style is perfect for us
What a dumbass comment from that person. With the same logic, then we are scoring more than 3 goals per game.
Only thing that needs urgently fix is this guy mouth, because his shit is coming out the wrong way.
What in the tier 6 crap is this? It’s like some people don’t even watch the games. Flick employs a high line as would be expected given his tactics, so of course you may concede an extra goal or two here. But while the offense produces 3-5+ goals per game, the GD is still there. Not to mention that these were the first couple of months and games employing this new (high-line) system of Flick’s. I’m sure more time would do them good, and with that comes experience. It’s not like we’re seeing the defensive blunders of a U12 team (*cough* like Bayern last night), and truthfully I see no “urgent” need to address the defense. What an idiotic piece.
I dont mind letting a few in if we obliterate the opponents, this is so much more fun to watch
Also, most of the goals end up in Offside…

The guy loses possession on offense, low offensive output, and always gets beat on defense, has bad run angles. It’s unfair to compare him to kounde, who is playing lights out, but even cancelo was okay-ish. We really need barca moms to push out a new lamasia talent by next year
well flick bayern was conceding .98 goals a game but scoring 3 goals a game. i dont see a problem
What a dumb article. The only two games where we conceded more than 1 goal, were against Monaco where we played with 10 men for 80 min and Osasuna where we had to start Dominguez and Martin in defense and Eric as a sole DM
No thanks, I prefer aggressive attacking football even if it means conceding a few.
During that season we also didn’t score avg 4goals per game…
I think it’s because we’re depleted and having to use Dominguez and Cuenca, both whom haven’t exactly impressed. Once Araujo and Christensen are back, we’ll be solid defensively once more
Well our back line is plagued with injuries and now we have a new keeper. It’s going to happen. Xavi had a consistent back line if I’m remembering correctly?
