Everyone on r/unitedkingdom was claiming it was another kid. I could bet money on it being a family member and some kind of religious extremist revenge/honour attack.
I feel so culturally enriched
This is seriously getting out of hand.
Perhaps leave the policing of twitter posters for a while and tackle some real crime?
This country is fucked

BBC reporting it was a mostly peaceful acid attack.
Very suspicious that they won’t say his name
There’s no need to post what we’re all thinking, let’s see if he’s changed and wait for a trial, then the dissection can begin.
*O tempora, o mores.*
It doesn’t really matter wtf threw acid in a child’s face, they’re a f#£%^&* c@#£ & I dont gaf about their name, age, race, sex, origin or religion. The only thing that matters is they’re under arrest, get a proper trial & appropriaye sentence.
What everyone seems to forget is that there is only one part of all this that matters, and it’s that the poor bloody girl is alright.

Honestly, I don’t care who did it or what their reasons were. If you’re going to do something that causes lifelong damage to someone, especially kids, you deserve a hell of a sentence.
Acid attacks aren’t just assaults they leave physical and mental scars that last forever. Seeing people get out in 10 years or even less for something like that is just infuriating.
Some have had as little as 3 to 7 years, which is just disgusting when you think about the victims living with those consequences for the rest of their lives.
Why do people have to do such awful actions I just don’t get it
