  1. Good. Accurate standardized labelling is one of the most beneficial things government can do. Societies and governments are built on bringing trust to markets so they can actually exist. Using labeling to keep turn over up is an abuse of labelling that hurts consumers and the environment.

  2. This is just pointless. One how is it not a violation of the 1st amendment to let companies label food. Also just because something isnt ‘expired’ doesnt mean it still is at it optimal freshness from a taste POV. There is that middle ground where things arent hazerdous to eat but you still would want to throw it out because it just wont taste right

  3. This would be a good thing if they replace it with regulated expiration dates. I don’t want to have to guess how long a jug of milk has been in the grocery fridge before I buy it.
