[OC] My 1 Month Long Job Hunt for a Full-Time Sales Position

Congrats, go you. I find job hunting super draining so happy for you its just a short process!
Some detacher reached out to me for a sales position, about half a year ago. TL;DR: I’ll be doing my 10th round of interviews next week.
I like data and optimization, not talking to people about stuff they probably don’t care about but I figured might as well add a nice line to my CV as its a fine position in a multi bilion dollar company, and I’m just 2 years into my career. Anyway being likely the only applicant with a technical background the HR lady loved me and set me up for a korn-ferry test, then called me immediately after, because me liking numbers showed I guess. Had another round of interviewing with her and she sent me on to the local sales manager. He liked me too and set up a meeting with the country manager, country manager wanted to meet in person together with the local sales manager and wanted to do another meeting at their other local office. Next they got the corporate hr manager involved for another meeting. She then set up an interview with the HR director and continental R&D manager, who said I should have a 1 on 1 with the CFO/Sales VP. Now he decided I should join the business improvement team and do sales on the side for exposure so next week I’m meeting the corporate business improvement director for my fucking 10th round of interviews. Can’t say it doesn’t fancy my ego but I basically met half the senior management at a company I don’t work at and I know fuck all about sales. Can’t wait to disappoint everyone. Meanwhile I’m just having fun and telling everyone that I like factorio which appearantly is a huge turn-on in corporate culture. No clue what I’m doing but I kinda just want to get a job offer. It’d be pretty fun though to make a chart like this, it’d just be a super elongated straight line of imposter syndrome. I should start writing green texts I guess.
