  1. They’ve played Ipswich, brentford, United, forest, Bournemouth, wolves, palace.

They lost to forest and brentford is the best team they’ve faced in the league.

  2. Regardless of the opposition and not having a proper test yet. Being at the top of the table currently and only 2 goals conceded is seriously impressive wherever we end up (assuming it’s top 4 that is).

  3. Well yea, when you haven’t played a team in the top half of the table and they all play a low block, keeping clean sheets is pretty easy.

  4. They were also saying the same thing about Spurs last season but for attacking prowess under Ange. The honeymoon could get found out. Same with our own Maresca. That is just the new manager effect. Give it a season

  5. I think they’ve already blown it by losing to Forest. You get to lose maybe two or three games a season now if you want to win. You can’t waste one of those defeats on Forest at home.

  6. Christ.
All these “they’ve not played anyone decent yet”.
You can only beat what is in front of you. Considering we’ve only conceded two goals so far I would say that’s a pretty decent start.

And as others have pointed out. Arsenal have conceded more goals against Leicester and Southampton at home than we have against everyone we’ve played. And with all due respect to Leicester and Southampton aren’t they worse than who we’ve played? 🤷‍♂️
