Visiting Isle of Slye in November and trying to book accommodations. We have found a beautiful place in Breakish but it looks like the logistics for that just won’t work. We want to explore the loop attached and will have a rental car! We would like a more secluded area where we could stay in a private cottage/cabin/ home with a breathtaking view. Not opposed to Portree we just haven’t found what we’re looking for there!

Try Teangue.
In November, expect short, potentially dark days and crap weather.
My wife and I stayed at An-Airidh in Portree for a couple nights during our honeymoon 5 years ago. Just off of A87, nice room with a lovely view. Breakfast was quite good too.
