Collective punishment is at the core of Israel’s political doctrine.
The lack of concern for collateral damage by the IDF is appalling.
A shame Palestinians came to Lebanon and started a civil war to use it as a base to attack Israel. It’s been going on since they were expelled from Syria for destabilizing that regime, and before that from Jordan for attempting to overthrow that government because they wouldn’t let them use it as a base to kill Israelis.
They did make a stop in between to murder Israeli Olympians in Munich.
Firefighters, first responders, journalists.. imagine if anyone but Israel deliberately killed so many non military personnel, they would have been labelled a terrorist country.
Insane to me that everyone jumps to call this intentional. As a former soldier, let me tell you for certain that this wasn’t, and that living with this is the hardest part of life after the fact.
This is not going to stop for a long time. Yesterday a mosque, today firefighters. Tomorrow a hospital, the next day some ambulances. Then an aid convoy, and then a bakery, because a Hezbollah member bought a croissant there, therefore the bakery was being used as a “human shield”.
Hezbollah propaganda
“Lebanese officials,” yeah okay bruv.
Not such a good idea to put your life on the front lines of an ongoing high-intensity war, trying to save the assets of a terror organization.
What does that have to do with geopolitics?
