  1. Nice to see a publication not influenced by the UAE. To those who don’t know, City owners have been trying to influence and own several media outlets in England over the past 2 years.

  2. The arabs should have started buying British and American institutions during the nineties.
This strategy is 30 years too late. Imagine if they owned CNN, FOX, The Times, Washington Post.

  3. I get it, City bad blablabla. Please lets not reheat the same talking points for Zth time now.

I do find it odd, how content people are with the league willingly violating UK law with the intent of punishing specific teams it doesnt like. I for one think this behavior by the PL is just as worrying as the concept of state owned clubs is.

Its very obvious that there is no love lost between City and the PL. We all know that. But if you are a league banging your chest on fair competition, you cant just stoop down to petty grudges to go after clubs you dont like.

At the end of the day the PL drafted rules, and it drafted them POORLY and now is mad at clubs taking advantage of that. The PL and its decision maker deserve the same amount of hate as City imo, both are just two different sides of the same coin of whats wrong with football today.
