I’ve lived in SE London for 14 years and have never encountered a pheasant until this beautiful guy started strolling around. Are London pheasants a thing outside of pub names?

Nice to see one living its best life and not 2D in the middle of the road. Very common here in Devon, never seen in London!
Bloody gentrification
Not seen one in Lewisham before but my mum and dad had one in their garden in Petts Wood. The best I saw in Lewisham was a fleeting glimpse of a Kingfisher down the Quaggy.
Used to see one regularly in South Norwood county park but haven’t seen him for a few years. Urban pheasants are definitely a thing.
