Too late.
Our chances ended 24 years ago. Just gonna enjoy the ride from here…
Fossil fuel civilization runs out of waste heat sink and wants to stop using the thing that literally powers it after it’s too late. Goodnight brothers and sisters.
When I first took a hard look at climate change I got depressed about it for awhile because it was clear human societies wouldn’t be willing to make the changes required to mitigate it.
The monotheistic death cults are celebrating.
Nothing to worry about. Humanity will perish and drag a lot of species down with it. But it will be much better for the global ecosystem in the long run as the planet will be able to flourish without humans being around.
