Santander’s latest advert – not the partnership I would have chosen

So Santander chose Thelma and Louise as an example of names of people meeting for their most recent print advert. A couple who fight off a rapist, someone who steals their money and kill various people before driving off a cliff killing themselves because they have left such a trail of destruction in their wake.

Is it really a good choice for the ad?

  1. At least Thelma and Louise are fictional.

Asda caterpillar cakes used to be called Bonnie and Clyde.

  2. A priest, an imam and a rabbit walk into a blood bank

    The rabbit says : I think I might be a type O.
