So Santander chose Thelma and Louise as an example of names of people meeting for their most recent print advert. A couple who fight off a rapist, someone who steals their money and kill various people before driving off a cliff killing themselves because they have left such a trail of destruction in their wake.
Is it really a good choice for the ad?

I mean their recent spokespeople are pretty well known for committing [atrocities…](https://youtu.be/PY5zwufNYk8?si=pLxVxfyJNK2ycckc)
Could be worse. They could have gone with “We introduced Ian to Myra”.
At least Thelma and Louise are fictional.
Asda caterpillar cakes used to be called Bonnie and Clyde.
A priest, an imam and a rabbit walk into a blood bank
The rabbit says : I think I might be a type O.
Who would you choose instead?
