Imagine paying extra to live in PšŸ¤®ris. Especially if you’re poor, why not just lay down next to a pile of litter? Smells the same probably

  1. No fucking way 1800ā‚¬ is even close to average in Helsinki. Why would you even rent if you have that kind of money.

  2. The more important question is why do you want to live in the capital of the country?! The matter of fact is that every capital is a shithole.

  3. Paris is about as clean as any other major city but I guess consumming content from americans trash talking Paris got to your head

  4. That doesnā€™t even reflect how expensives they actually are, for example, in Madrid minimun wage is around ā‚¬1200 meaning that if u earn the minimun must move somewhere else (I lived in Madrid is really that expensive)
Meanwhile in brussels minimun wage is around ā‚¬1800/2000 (I donā€™t have it clear and donā€™t want to google it out) meanwhile you can still rent and ā€œaffordā€ to live, itā€™s still expensive, but is affordable

  5. More ridiculous is why is Dublin almost as expensive as London?

At least London and Paris are big metropolitan cities. Dublin is tiny in comparison.

  6. 2018 was a million years ago. Itā€™s been 6 years of price inflation and wage stagnation in the UK. The French have NOTHING on us!

  7. BS. I pay 750ā‚¬ for 40mĀ² appartment close to Helsinki center. 3 minutes from metro and mall.

  8. Tbh I don’t like the format of the statistic. It can easily be altered by a different mean size of apartments.

If the mean apartment in Paris is 85 m^2 while the mean apartment in Dublin is 70 m^2, then (arguably) Dublin apartments are more costly then Parisienne.

An “average montly rent per square meter” metrics would have been much, much more useful.
