  1. the only reason i even have coffee in my house is for tradesmen so u can bet ur butt i’ll be asking them !

  2. Me, a tradesperson: “No thanks” (I’d rather finish my list for the day and get to the pub before rush hour)

  3. We, as a people, are so out of our depth when we have strangers round that we revert to the same 4, or so, questions that we over heard our parents ask strangers in their house 20-30 years, or so, ago.

Anyway, tradesmen must get so much tea, or coffee, on a weekly basis they are bordering on kidney failure by the time they are 35 lol.

  4. Ive been told im weird because I dont accept food or drink from customers, i mean some of the places I go are disgusting but also growing up it was always “dont accept food and drink from strangers”

  5. I once gave a council gardener a glass of water without offering when I saw them show up to work on the hottest day of the year. He was happy to take it. The other didn’t want any as apparently the flats where I lived were their last job of the day and they were off to the pub once they’d finished, and he didn’t want to fill his stomach with water when he could later fill it with alcohol, lol! 🤣🤣

  6. I visit 5-7 houses on a typical workday, and tend to get offered 7-10 cups of tea/coffee.
