  1. Putin in Crimea keeps Ukraine economically dependant to Putin's whims and wishes. All Ukraine ports and navigation routes become vulnerable with Putin's soldiers and arm bases y in Crimea

  4. The people of crimea voted long ago to be part of the russian federation get over it. If ukraine wants a peace deal it has no bargaining chips left and will certainly not be joining nato.

  35. No, more than that. Most people in eastern Ukraine are Russian and are sick of being discriminated against. UK trying to stoke nuclear war over Ukraine and Israel.

  42. Russia will need to give up Syria if it wants Crimea on the condition that US withdraws aid from Ukraine and RU withdraws aid to Syria. Ukraine remains neutral and excluded from Nato, but will have EU membership status. That's probably the best conclusion I can think of.
