Exactly. It was gut wrenching watching the numbers come in and states get called in 2016. That Blue Wave Hillary was anticipating wasn’t any more than a pond ripple.
Polls count for nothing……votes mean everything!
Just remember that 100% of Trump supporters vote. Trump is at the point now where he really doesn’t have any votes to gain – it’s up to us to get to the polls and give Democrats an edge that won’t come down to the EC.
The only poll that matters happens on Nov 5. Be there or mail in/drop off your ballot! Zero excuses. Anyone who skipped 2016 out of confidence, nows your redemption!
All our excitement, the cheering, a feeling of hope, rallies, signs … all that means NOTHING if you don’t vote.
Strongly urge you to vote early if at all possible. Check your state’s early voting date and location. *Plan* for this; gather your friends and/or family and make this an event you can proudly tell coworkers and family in years to come; “I voted for the first woman President and we got rid of Trump, finally!”
You shouldn’t need to be courted, called, emailed, your door knocked on, a mailer in your mailbox; you’re voting for your own future. Vote a straight Blue ticket top down, nationally, state, county, municipal, and judiciary.

I definitely don’t give any weight to polls, but overall everyone is a lot more positive about Harris than they were Clinton. By a looong shot. People I know who wanted nothing to do with Clinton are ecstatic about Harris.

Her poll numbers are abysmal? It’s actually terrifying. She looked like she would barely be holding wins in a few states, but now with recent October polls (usually the most accurate) have her losing major states to Trump. There are more clearly right leaning and alt right pollsters than 2020 or 2016 sure. But the ‘normal’ pollsters all have Kamala at terrible odds if you look at how ‘good’ the country/world is going and how absolutely and godawful Trump has been. You have, THE WORST, candidate for president ever (And I mean ever, I will take 0 bullshit from anyone who can’t fanthom that Trump is easily the worst (serious) candidate for President that the USA has ever had. Anyone who supports him even in the slightest has my absolute disgust) and he’s running 50/50 or better with Harris right now. The only hope is pollsters are overestimating Trump at the same rates they were overestimating Hillary in 2016 and Biden in 2020 (yes Biden won, but polling overestimated dems at an insane level).
And why I have hope for them overestimating Trump is: most have Harris winning the popular vote at like 2%+. There’s no fucking goddamn way. I don’t believe that for a goddamn minute. Not in a million years. So at least nationwide they are consistently underestimating her numbers. By 2% AT LEAST. Most likely 3-4% off. So that could be good news for her terrible numbers in the rest of the states.
