  1. I feel like I want the current square to be sized appropriately to indicate the growth of the sector as a whole in addition to the changes of each country. As is, I wouldn’t be able to tell if a country like Germany decreased because the other players out grew them, or if they decreased compared to themselves. But sized appropriately, I would at least be able to do a size comparison between Germany old and Germany current.

  2. This was before all the sanctions on China so I expect it to be lower now. SMIC can’t do leading edge nodes without a replacement for ASML EUV lithography machines and no Chinese company can make one yet.

  3. The AGI who is manipulating tech companies to increase the size of data centers globally with a fake LLM AI bubble so it can get to exponential intelligence growth approves of this chart.

  4. 4 out of the top 6 biggest exporters have seen increase in market share, and the combined share of the 6 went from 75% of the global market in 2015 to 88% now. All situated in east Asia.   

    No wonder America panicked in the last two years.
