I’m looking forward to seeing how their apologists try and spin this one. One could be waved away as an accident, but three is very obviously deliberate.

All nations who stand for human rights have to come together and challenge Israel.
I was afraid this was going to happen. But was sadly predicable.
A surprise it is not.
A quick reminder that there are lots of Irish families who will be worried right now while we wait for details. So careful what you share.
Don’t add to the families’ worries.
This is very typically Israel. They have done it countless times in Gaza.
Publically change position, indicate everything is alright, say certain groups are alright and then strike.
Man, it’s almost like NATO letting Israel literally get away with murder for decades has led to them doing shit like this.
Two peacekeepers “lightly injured” which, while it sucks to be injured at all, sounds like a very small step up from minimal/no injuries.
Also confirmed they are not Irish.
> Israeli forces fired at UN peacekeeper positions in three separate incidents in south Lebanon over a 24-hour period, a UN source says.
> In one incident yesterday, an Israeli tank fired at a watchtower at UN peacekeepers’ main base in Naqoura.
> Two UN peacekeepers were “lightly injured” as a result of falling after the watchtower came under Israeli tank fire, the UN source said.
> There were no casualties among UN peacekeepers in the other two incidents, in which small arms were fired at UN positions, according to reports.
When do peacekeepers return fire? Surely at this stage it’s clear hostile actions towards them.
